Aside from our 19 award-winning athletic sports and more than 35 special interest
clubs, VC has specialized programs to help you succeed. Student Services provides Extended Opportunity Programs and Services (EOPS), Disability Services (DSPS), the Student Health Center, Financial Aid, Basic Needs, and the VC Pirate Pantry, along with services for veterans, foster youth, undocumented students, working parents, and more.

Worried about the cost of college? We have laptops and textbooks you can borrow, FREE of charge. We also offer hundreds of Zero Textbook-Cost (ZTC) classes every year.

We’ve partnered with some amazing companies in our community – including Gibbs International, Haas Automation, Community Memorial Hospital, Toyota, and Ventura County Superior Court – to give you access to incredible internship programs.

VC is committed to ensuring your educational opportunities are provided within a safe learning environment.  Ventura College has offered educational opportunities in Ventura County for the past 95 years. This legacy contributes to our college’s strong foundation, on which we provide high quality instruction and support services delivered by outstanding faculty, staff, and administrators, who are focused on your success. VC also offers flexible day and evening class schedules, online courses, and additional programs on our Ventura College East Campus in Santa Paula. Additionally, we have transfer agreements with all California State Universities, University of California, and many private higher education institutions to facilitate access into baccalaureate programs.

We know our students’ academic journeys are not always easy. As such, the college also offers financial, academic, and health support services to help eliminate barriers to boost your college success. Promise Program | What is the Promise?

Did you know that Ventura College was the first community college in California
to develop the Promise Program? In fact, our program was so successful, the state
adopted it for first year students. Ventura College offers it for the first TWO years
and it covers students regardless of income or citizen documentation.

Financial Aid & Scholarships

We offer FREE financial aid counseling. Complete your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or California Dream Act Application to become eligible for federal and state aid including:

• Student Success Completion Grant
• VC Promise Program

The Ventura College Foundation alleviates financial barriers by providing scholarships for our students.
